Hello!

I'm Peter, a Professional Counselor Associate.

As a mental health therapist, I’m committed to creating a safe, supportive space for healing and growth. I specialize in trauma work—including PTSD, complex relational and attachment trauma, and religious or spiritual trauma, as well as LGBTQ+ identity, men’s issues, depression, anxiety, and major life transitions. I work with adult individuals and couples of all ages, identities, and walks of life, helping clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion and authenticity. Therapy is a deeply personal journey, and I strive to meet each person with curiosity, respect, and a recognition of their unique story. I’m honored to walk alongside those seeking greater clarity, resilience, and connection. Telehealth and in-person sessions are available Monday through Thursday.

About Me.

If feelings of shame or a harsh inner critic are always present, making you feel stuck, miserable, or hopeless, know that change is possible and that these are not things you have to live with. If you are suffering, know that you are not alone, and that relief and growth are within reach. These are truths that I’ve come to understand through personal experience as well as through my work with clients.

I work with men, women, trans, and nonbinary adults, and I deeply value the opportunity to connect with people across the full spectrum of identities.

I believe that meaningful change begins when we learn to accept ourselves as we are. You already have everything you need to live a full and rewarding life; my role is to help you reconnect with your most authentic self.

My Services

COUNSELING

Clients come to me for a variety of reasons, including addressing the impacts of trauma—especially complex trauma from abuse or neglect in childhood or formative relationships—religious trauma, exploring and affirming gender and/or sexual identity, grief, men’s issues, depression, anxiety, and life transitions.

My therapeutic style draws from Existential Therapy and Attachment Theory to help you better understand who you are and how you relate to others. Since so much of our identity is shaped by the world around us, I also incorporate Ecotherapy, supporting you in strengthening your connection to the natural world as well.
