I have interest in educating you; about the importance of good foods and proper digestion; about daily movement for your body and stimulation for your mind; about rest, play and doing things that bring you joy and meaning. I have interest in teaching that stress is a normal, necessary, ever-present thing in our lives; without it we would not learn and grow but poor management of it can tear you apart. I have great interest in taking the time to listen to you. This simple act may be the most important ingredient in a successful healing relationship.
My specialty is general family medicine. I have helped folks with allergies, gastroesophageal reflux, constipation, depression, sore throats, premenstrual symptoms, menopause, arthritis, eczema, bladder infections, high blood pressure, insomnia, and cardiovascular disease to name a few. Most recently I am seeing more folks with diabetes (and pre-diabetes) and having good success using simple education of how to eat and exercise in order to reverse this all too common diagnosis. Most are quite surprised to hear my recommendations are VERY different than the American Diabetes Association.
No matter your diagnosis, I desire to contribute positively to your well-being.
